What is Achieving the Dream (ATD)?
Achieving the Dream (ATD) is a “team-lead process” for institutional-change, whereby students, faculty, staff and administrators utilize data to identify gaps in student achievement, and implement and/or improve strategies for closing those gaps.  LATTC has established two teams representing a composition inclusive of all college constituencies that will work on specific ATD activities. The two teams are the Student Success Committee/Core Team and Data Team Task Force.

Why is ATD important?
Through ATD, LATTC will make decisions and allocate resources based on evidence of what is working and what is not. The college will then set measurable goals for improvement and use data to assess its progress.
