We’re Getting Ready for Welcome Week

The Fall semester is almost here and we are gearing up for the arrival of thousands of students on our first day of classes Monday August 31st. For continuing students, make sure you enroll early because many classes will be filled and you do not want to be left out. The campus is undergoing significant construction, so getting around may involve additional detours and additional time. Please be patient because the end result will be a gorgeous campus with some fabulous buildings and great student areas. We always remind students to apply for financial aid and this semester is no different. More than 80% of our students qualify, and you could be one of them.

Visit the Financial Aid office in the T-modular buildings. You can expect some fun and surprises during Welcome Week. To help with questions about classes, enrollment and directions, there will be a tent in the K-Mall with representatives from Admissions and Records, Counseling, Business Office, Matriculation, Financial Aid and ASO. We are also fortunate to have several companies attending Welcome Week to give you information about services and employment. Look for them in the K-Mall as well. There will be music and giveaways as usual. We look forward to seeing all of the familiar student faces.

Don’t forget, parking has changed a bit. We can no longer park in the Glory Church. We have expanded parking in the Orthopedic lot and we also have overflow parking at the LA Mart for the first three weeks of the semester. Just show your parking permit.

Again, we look forward to seeing you on Monday August 31st. Welcome to Trade Tech!
