STEP System to be Eliminated

The Student Telephone Enrollment Program, better known as STEP, allowed students to register at any of the LACCD campuses over the phone. With the advent of online registration, relatively few students are still using the STEP system. Given the cost of maintaining an antiquated system with declining participants, the district has decided to eliminate the STEP system at the end of the year. Instead students will be encouraged to enroll online at www.LATTC.edu  or in person at the Admissions Office in the R-building. For those students without access to a computer at home, the Trade Tech computer labs are available. For DSPS students who used the STEP system, the district is investigating possible alternatives.

The STEP system will no longer be referenced in the class schedule or school catalog.

for DSPS students your working on it. please do, it's hard enough just trying to see a counselor they open at 8:30 am but no one see you till 9am. They seem to forget we have classes and time is of the utmost importance for us. This seems to happen alot even with 2 counselors inside.
