LFSA Events

The culmination of the Hispanic Heritage Month included an inspiring speech by our district chancellor Dr. Francisco Rodriguez. The events for the month, have been organized by the Latinx Faculty and Staff Association. Chancellor Rodriguez talked about the inherent and unmatched value of education and encouraged to stay on course. The events also featured some great food from Taco Taxi, some great music, including having LFSA president Olga Garcia singing a few songs with the mariachis. There were Aztec dancers who got many people off of their feet and the discussion about news media between former FOX11 reporter Tony Valdez and our own David Ysais was informative. Thank you to everyone who attended and everyone who helped make the events successful.
