Community College Event this Tuesday at Holman United Methodist

This Tuesday 10/16, the California Community Colleges Black and African American Advisory Panel in partnership with California Community Colleges’ Career Education, I Can Afford College and the Associate Degree for Transfer campaigns, will be holding a town hall on the barriers facing African American students as they move through this state’s community college system. There will be panel discussions and information provided by the state community college leadership at the event taking place at Holman United Methodist Church. State chancellor Eloy Oakley-Ortiz is expected to speak. Trade Tech will have a presence as well, with a table at the event. The program goes from 5:30pm to 8:00pm.
