Safety Training
In support of the EHS goal of ensuring a safe and healthy environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors, the department offers a wide array of occupational safety training classes. EHS can also provide specialized training modules, examples we have developed include Asbestos Awareness, Bloodborne Pathogens, Hazardous Communication and Occupational Safety and Health including Injury Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).
Each safety training is designed to provide information to promote awareness of potential hazards in the work place. Customized safety training can be performed upon request . Please contact the LATTC Enviornmental Health and Safety at ext 3632 for any questions or to schedule a training session.
We can also provide assistance to supervisors, laboratory managers, and others who have responsibility for training employees in workplace hazards.
