Voicemail in Outlook Inbox

< Back to FAQs

  • You now have the ability to receive your voicemail in your email inbox.
  • Messages left in your voicemail inbox will also appear as emails with attached .wav files in your exchange mailbox.  These .wav files can be listened to through the speakers on your workstation when access mail through outlook or through webmail at http://trade.lattc.edu or  even your smartphone if it is connected to LATTC email.
  • Simply double click on the wav file attachment in your email to allow it to open and play (see pic below)
  • Once you listen to a voicemail message through your email, the voicemail system will move that message to your saved messages folder in your voicemail box and turn off your message waiting indicator (the red light on your phone that shows you have a new message).  In other word once a message is marked as read in your email it will no longer be considered new in your voicemail inbox.  Also when you delete a voice message from your E-mail it will also be deleted from voicemail.
