STUDENT SERVICES

Welcome to the Division of Student Services at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College. We have 80 years of experience and are committed to supporting students as they transition into college and as they achieve their academic goals. We offer a variety of support services for students to reach their greatest potential.

We are proud of the work that we do and in our ability to enhance the student learning experience at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College. Whether you seek a college degree, new job skills, transfer to a university, or are taking classes for personal enrichment LATTC is here for you.

Student Services is responsible for providing the following specialized services that help students enroll and pursue their educational goal:

  • Admissions & Records : student records, transcripts, veterans' affairs.
  • CalWORKs/GAIN : provides extensive services for participants.
  • Career Center : promotes effective career counseling and planning.
  • Child Development Center : provides free or low cost childcare to eligible parents who attend classes.
  • Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education : CARE is part of EOPS.
  • Counseling : personal, career, and transfer counseling.
  • Disabled Student Programs & Services (DSPS) : Special accommodations for students with special needs.
  • Extended Opportunity Program and Services (EOPS) : is designed to supplement existing college programs and to provide assistance to aid financially and educationally disadvantaged full-time students.
  • Financial Aid : scholarships, grants, work-study, and loans.
  • Information Center : the center provides general information about the campus.
  • Matriculation : assessment, orientation and early alert.
  • Puente : program provides a collaborative program with the English Department.
  • School Relations : functions as a clearinghouse for K-12 students entering the campus to enroll in college classes.
  • Student Activities : intramurals, clubs and organizations, special events.
  • Student discipline : Issues concerning student misconduct.
  • Student Employment Center : assists students in finding full-time or part-time jobs.
  • Student Health Center : provides health services to students.
  • University Transfer Center : provides a variety of services for students interested in transferring to a four-year college or university.
