Orientation is important! It is an introduction to the special programs and services that the college has created with your success in mind. You will learn more about counseling services, financial aid and scholarships, support programs for student with special needs, and tutoring services. You will also learn how to read the class schedule and complete the registration process. In-person Orientation also gives you an opportunity to meet fellow students and start new friendships. Please note that certain majors also require an additional departmental orientation.Trade-Tech currently offers three types of orientations. You may participate in any one of the three:*

1. CD-ROM Orientation

Provides students with a variety of programs and services that LATTC has to offer. You may actually choose to complete this orientation before you take the assessment test if you take the CD-ROM home and complete the questionnaire. Further directions are available at the Student Information Center (ST-Lobby).

2. In-person Orientation

Available for those students who would like to speak directly with a college representative and receive information regarding the programs and services available at the college. Please submit College Application and if needed complete the Assessment Test prior to attending an In-Person Orientation.
