First Trade-Tech All-Female Line Worker Class Shows Skills and Support.

August 23, 2010.  It has been a grueling summer for a group of women that have become the first all-female class to complete the utility line worker training at LATTC. The 22 ladies have finished the rigorous and challenging class under the tutelage of instructor Ken Bushman and now hope to test with the local utility companies, for a chance to work on the big poles throughout the region and the country. On August 20, 2010, the class gathered for its historic graduation and there was an unmistakable camaraderie among the classmates.  A video of the portion of the graduation ceremony that took place in the pole yard was produced.  The video is comprised mostly of testimonials of the graduates of the program.
